Cannot unsocket gems after latest patch!!!!

I just updated to the latest patch 0.1.1b on PS5. The moment I go into my inventory and try to unsocket gems, the game seems to freeze in the sense I'm unable to do anything gem wise and I'm unable to unsocket gems. I still have the cursor. I am able to exit inventory but the screen says "game is paused" for at least a good 20-30 seconds before I get kicked out with "An unexpected disconnection occurred". What is going on GGG
