I need advice to make an important decision (Help me please)
On January 14th I made a purchase of $250 in the GGG store. It turns out that I wanted to update my core pack to the latest version and I looked directly for the price of $250 without looking at the core pack. It turns out that it asked me to log in and I clicked accept and continue with the purchase. What happened? I had bought the penultimate version of the core pack that I already had, so I already had those skins and now I had them duplicated. I put a ticket to Xsolla and GGG. They answered me quickly, Xsolla told me that GGG had to refund me and that they couldn't do anything, GGG told me to tell them the name of my account with the 4 digits and some names of my characters. Well, I answered the ticket and since January 14th I haven't had any more response from them, I still have the same repeated skins, the same and exact coins that they gave me when I bought the wrong core pack.
As far as I understand, correct me if I'm wrong, Xsolla can only give you your money back within 14 days, my 14 days for a refund expire on January 28th, there isn't much left so seeing that this is still the same as the day I started it, I have doubts, I want to get my money back as soon as possible but I'm afraid that Xsolla or GGG will block my account in which I have invested a lot of money and I won't be able to play again or get everything I have bought. What should I do, wait for GGG to answer me or ask for a refund from Paypal and risk having my account blocked forever? Right now I'm very confused and sad, I need someone to guide me on what I should do because I don't want to lose my money nor do I want to lose my account in which I have spent a lot of money. Try D4 - new season just started.

What does that have to do with what I'm asking?

Okay - real advice incoming.
I would wait for more info from GGG. I dont think you should risk getting your account locked by doing an end around for a refund. From the looks of all of your badges, you arent hurting for money, so I would say just hang in there. They are pretty swamped with support requests right now, and you have your email trail for proof of the date of refund request. My hunch is that you will get help eventually, while still being able to play in the meantime and not risking your account. Last edited by superbomb1967#5561 on Jan 23, 2025, 11:19:15 AM

You are quite right in what you say, so I will do it then, and I wouldn't mind if they simply changed me to the latest pack instead of giving me my money back, I think they can do that. I will wait and see if they respond soon.

dont expect a reply any time soon. a lot of people including myself have been waiting for help for almost 2 months. i sent my email at the start of december. their support system is absolutely disgraceful. only you know how badly you need the refund money. if you can wait then wait, but honestly, it can take months

I don't need the money per se, I just need to be upgraded to the latest support pack available which costs the same as buying the first 4, I think even a little less. I'd be happy with that solution.

Under normal situations this wouldn't be a real issue, but buried the nightmare of the new release, there's no telling how long it might take for that ticket to get resolved, as there's no way for them to know the urgency of the event until after getting to the ticket.
IF you're lucky, someone from GGG will see the thread and expedite the process due to the unique time constraints. You might try a new thread with a title to attempt to draw GGG moderator attention, so maybe they can bridge you to support directly. Given how much stuff you'd have at this point, I wouldn't risk getting your account locked and putting all that in peril if you can afford to absorb the loss for now, but that depends on your personal view of the cost of what you have vs the cost of what's at stake. Just remember that spamming their staff with emails will just bump you to the back of the line. |
