several collected ideas to gameplay: what still needs to be done
-sudden death
Sometimes i just die instantly, even if i have full resistances and good defenses. Doesnt matter if i play warrior, mage or archer. Thats frustrating, but there is an easy solution: a buff that prevents death once in a minute. Let it cost some spirit. These sudden deaths often happen after i kill rare monsters and the screen pops up with loot. a) i watch the loot b) i cant see anything else (especially the deadly purple, homing orbs). Most others deaths happen after i dodge roll against a small object and dont move a single meter. -customable lootfilter Some games already have them. For poe2 i found only "neversink loot filter" and none else. I dont like this one because he hides some loot i still want. -healing potion/flasks This is great. Do you remember Diablo 1+2? You could buy a full inventory of healing potions to survive every encounter. I didnt like it and even Blizzard didnt like it so they changed it to a heal over time and then limited it with a cooldown. I still want a change to the current flasks: enable a 0,5 sec cooldown so i dont waste charges by doubleclicking. -customizeable autoloot You dont want to bow for every goldcoin? This already works. Why not enable this for currency (orbs of augmentation, exalted and divine orbs)? Because your inventory begins to fill too fast? -bigger inventory Your treasure chest can be expanded with additional stashtabs (e.g. a page just for currency). Why not enable it for the on-the-road-inventory? Who wouldnt pay for it? -wisdom scrolls Why do we still have to identify items? For the thrill? Okay, then we could just hover with the mouse over the item, wait a second and the see the desired informations. Scrolls are unnecessary (difficult word). -stashtabs I am missing the autosort function. I have a page full of maps and want to sort them by level. I wish i could sort other pages by itemtypes. And i am missing a stashtab just for maps (like in poe1) -orb of chance Why does the item need to be white? All lootfilter ignore white items. White stellar amulets are more rare than blue+yellow ones (same with heavy belts). Or make the white items buyable all the time at a vendor -level 15 maps ...shouldnt drop advanced items and level 1 maps -uniques There are two types a) big change to the system (like converting lightning to cold damage) b) only usefull for characters under level 30 Type A you can still use endgame but 9/10 uniques are just .... aweful shit. Do i get uniques with a leveling character when this character still needs them? Never happened. With my level 90 archer i got hundreds of uniques that are only useful for a low, low, really low level character. A dropping unique should make me "wow" but in real it just disappoints. solution: let them scale with characterlevel -essences seem useless to me. Make them useable on yellow items. -towers There are two short ways to the percusor beacon. High level waystones are wasted here. Change it to one way and double the rare monsters to make it viable to spend good waystones. -Add trial of the sekhemas button to the right-hand side, like Chaos Trial has. a supplement to the uniques:
I have found a merchant in the atlas, that is selling 10 uniques for free. I didnt want a single one of it. 10x waste Drop rate: All items (that my ranger wears) come from trading. I am just farming currency ...not items (though i still look at most drops). At ritual altars i never buy items ... only currency. These items are too bad. Increase the drop rate.
