Sceptre affix/ suffix for minions (Damage increase vs Attack speed increase)
I understand that the priority on a sceptre for minion builds is
1. Lvl on minions 2. Spirit % but what's more important Allies in your presence deal % increased damage OR Allies in your presence have % increased attack speed? (ex: is 50% increased damage better than 11% increased attack speed?) Last bumped on Jan 23, 2025, 1:12:21 AM

Generally speaking, an additional stat is more valuable if its base stat is low, or if its rate of increase is high. (efficiency)
In the same manner, more valuable if an additional stats is scarce in passive tree/gears/skill effects or if its rate of increases is higher than other same stats on passive/gears/skill effects or having greater synergy. 1. Lvl on minions -> base stat is raised greatly. less summoning costs. 2. Spirit % -> it's #2 because sceptre has +100 by default and %spirit has higher chance to appear and and etc etc. However, it can be sometimes build defining stats. If you can share those contexts and adjust/adapt in different situations in your own game play, I'd like to share my opinion below.
Spoiler
speed if the roll/tier is high enough (which means %damage is #2 like you put the % spirit as #2 in an expedient manner.)
"(30~)50% damage vs 11~16 speed" can read as "4 points on %damage vs %speed on passive tree" while there are 20% speed with 5 points in total on the tree. Generally, if "my" expectation (requirement) is high, I will be testing the difference with a "higher roll/tier" stats and "lesser roll/tier" stats. To make things simple, I will use more simple setting to not make the decision complicated unnecessarily. For example, use Act bosses as DPS checker with minimum settings to make the difference "discernable". Maybe run a few tests by changing passive tree and/or using 50% damage sceptre and 11% speed sceptre ?
