(POE2) Negative resistances

Sorry I'm having trouble figuring out why my resistances are -40% -40% -40% and 10% with all my gear off.
I have used multiple AI chats to try and figure it out but no luck. Again, this is with all my gear off. My build is Infernalist witch/minion. I already tried taking off all my ascendancy points and none of them affected my resistances. Please help me figure out why this is happening. I am in standard league (Maps). Lvl 89
Also I have these negative resistances when I'm in my own hideout and already tried restarting the game to see if that helps. It didn't.

It's not surfaced through the UI very well (at all?), but as you progress through the campaign, your resistances slowly decrease permanently. I believe it's at a rate of -5% per act, with some acts providing opportunities to permanently raise one of them back up some percentage.

Basically though, you're intended to be negative by the time you hit maps. At least they stopped adding more reductions as you progressed through map tiers.

unlike the previous post , every new act has a massage that tells you to lose -10% elemental resistances, the other res you have is chaos, prolly chose the +10% chaosres quest reward or via passive tree, however you get +20 all res via quest rewards leaving you at a total -40% when naked



quick edit: it helps to know that you have totaly different resistances in act 1 normal and act 1 cruel for example, the penaltys only apply on the acts they occour or later

for example, you can have 60/60/60/10 in act 1 normal, and you will have without changing any gear be at 50/50/50/10 in act 2 normal, one way to test it for yourself
