POE2 means Path OF Electric?

Everyone is playing Spark Projectile with Mouse Macro. they destroyed this game.

why no Fire/Ice/Chaos sorceress at all? because these skills is too slow/weak/mana cost than Spark Projectile.

Who's "everyone"? Every streamer that you care about? It doesn't mean you have to follow the crowd you know. There are tons of decent builds that do great: minions, that bow stuff, grenades etc. all with lots of variations. Monks feel rly good too.
Spark is fine for those who like it, let people have fun

I mean.
Devs are clearly in love with a lightning. Sorc? Lightning. Monk? Lightning. Ranger? Lightning. No idea about Merc, but let me guess, lightning? Warrior got no lightning and look how bad he is. Just look at lightning damage major nodes and tell they aren't overpowered. Compare them to fire nodes for example, lol.

I made 2 infernalists, the second one was spark.

It's insane how optimal it is for map clearing. I got right out of the campaign, upgraded only my gloves and staff and reached t16's without any further upgrades. 1k hp, 2k ES, 0 armour, 0 evasion, 0 block yet never in danger because enemies are frozen/dead before they can attack.

with so many projectiles bouncing around they cover big open areas and creep through narrow hallways, they break every pot in the level and make breaches free loot.

Not great at bossing, but 99% of endgame seems to be clearing maps anyway.

Doing fine with poison build over here juiced t16s and have done xesht at +4. Regularly running sekhemas with no issue.

There's lots of decent builds if you don't follow the mob. You don't have to play the strongest build in the game to do well. Heck I wouldn't even try to compare anything to the meta build there's one every league, play it or play something else. It's not the only thing that works just because it's the fastest.

i was following the explosive shot/fire grenadier on merc, and the bombadier (fire also) minion build, and i ended up switching the merc to explosive shot with shockwave and three dragons helm to swap out some of the ailments, and reavers on minion with phys. i feel like trying to lob grenades with time delay and only fire didn't work, and the skeletal bombers were either too weak/slow/fire bad. not sure. freeze seems to work.

Then there's the issue that there are a lot of very good Lightning damage items and Lightning spell buff (Archmage, lol), while none of these exist for other elements. It clearly gravitate towards those builds for now, which I don't like as I never play Lightning and Cold-based builds in any game unless there's no way around it.

Also, when it comes to Ailments, Shock is a much better ailment for practically any build than Ignite is, for example. Poison is fine, and there are some very good poison builds, but they probably benefit from Shock too.

Anyway, Lightning currently has all the love. I'm really looking forward to the new classes in hope that it will bring new Fire/Physical/Earth/Holy/Poison themed skills and builds (with supporting gear).

Yeah, literally everyone is playing OP-meta builds. You’ve probably never traded with people before. If you did some trading or just checked the leaderboard, you’d see what’s being played the most.

No matter what there always will be one build that stronger than others.
If you meta slave then you will play best build and nothing else.
If you not meta slave, then you will find countless number of interesting builds.
