Boss unreachable in desert map

Map is totally open but no way to reach boss. I had some random spiders spawn and jump out of the ground, and it looks like one of them spawned where the ramp should be and now you can hide in the sand there some, but you can't get to the boss. Tried including image but doesn't look like it works.
