Delete Mirror from the game

I have been thinking about it and I see no other real solution to make crafting viable for players of path of exile 2.

Just delete the mirror, you wil also delete more than half of RMT illegal activity from the game as well at the same moment.

Most players never used omens of whittling / dextral erasure, and you cannot expect them to spam those omens costing 10/20 divines per roll, needing 40-50 rolls on average to roll a single stat.

The price of omens grows because mirror shops buy them out enmasse, and the droprate/chance is too insignificant. I have ran rituals myself, and after 50 maps seeing zero crafting omens, made me realize that crafting SSF would be completely non-existent.

Make crafting great again, you made exalts common, now make those omens crafting more commong (at least on the level of divine +-) and remove mirroring "perfect" items, as it kind of destroys the replayability of crafting and it all ends into grinding currency, and no fun.

It also makes everyone run with literally identical items.

Huh, that's actually a good point. Mirrors basically just help enable RMT and aren't relevant for 99.999% of actual players.

I've never even seen the omens you mentioned. Omens are crazy rare to begin with, but I've bought every one I've seen and looks like almost all the ones I have are less than exalt in value(according to Alva). There are omens worth divines?

Yes. But if a person can buy mirrored services they can spend a lot on money on the mtx shop.

That's a good idea. They can now up the drops of everything as everyone will be forced to use their currency to make the best items PER character. It also means RMT and botters will be forced into using more of their time to make items. Assuming they bother with that side of the game.

But a better solution is to simple remove the trade window. Replacing it with the exchange. No direct trading. No RMT.

That is an option. GGG becoming the RMT. Not sure how well people will like that. They'd probably prefer believing they achieved everything in a "cheat free" game.

A whittling is extremely useful for crafting. Some are completely worthless like the one that adds two mods instead of one. Others are mid like the one that saves for from death.
