Trial of Chaos Impending Doom delayed detonation

Noticed today that sometimes on Impending Doom curse, the ring won't explode until after a few seconds.
Not sure if there was some sort of change with the latest hotfix, but it's happening a lot, seemingly only when I step into the zone.
