Doors to Arena in Map Will Not Open to Leave

Rustbowl map with a boss, level 8 Waystone. For some reason this map had doorways to enter the boss arena, up until this map I had not seen that before. There were two doorways to enter the arena with a checkpoint right next to one of the doors. After defeating the boss, I used a portal to enter my hideout to store and sort some loot. Upon re-entering the map, the doors would not allow my character to exit the arena to complete the map. Used up more portals only to have the same result. Map is borked and cannot be completed.
