Account linking is dumb

What is the point of account linking? I can't access literally ANYTHING on my account because I'm playing on this PC/Steam account but everything dropped on my PS4 account I don't use anymore. I purchased the pack on Steam so why isn't anything connected to my actual steam account. I can't even upgrade my pack because it's like I never purchased the early access on my PC account.

The fuck was the point of this system when it doesn't actually provide any real value. All account linking did was fuck me out of shop points and 30 dollars. I want to buy tabs and shit but apparently fuck me for wanting to do that right.

I'm only posting here because apparently if I try to get info from customer support it puts me at the back of the line even though I've been ghosted by them since before Christmas.

The purchases between sony and your pc account do not transfer. I was very bummed about this too when I switched for poe2 because I have had many purchases built up over the years and had to repurchase stash tabs.

I believe this is not GGG's fault but a policy of sony when purchasing through their system because on xbox I have heard everything transfers fine.

If I bought the pack on PSN that'd be fine. But I didn't, I bought the Early Supporter Pack on Steam. I can't even upgrade so I can get the Ogran pack on this account because it only registers I bought it on my other account . . . the one that's not a steam account. I don't even have PoE2 on my PS4 or PS5 so there's exactly zero reason my steam purchase or twitch drops should be on that account yet they have been since release.

I'm having a similar issue, but I have linked my new steam account where I boughtthe early access, to my olc PC website account that has a lot of microtransactions. I want all these mtx to be transferred to the steam account so I can have all of them + the ones I bought with the early access points together.

I haven't received an answer from support yet, do you think this can be done because it's 2 PC accounts?

Early December I asked the support exact the same: Please transfer the microtransactions like twitch drops from the webpage PC account to its linked steam account where I play poe2.

They answered fast with "we may be able to help, please confirm your account names, your character names and transaction IDs" which I immediately provided.

Now I'm waiting since mid-December but not a single peep from them.

That's why an email only support without immediate account confirmation is the worst account support possible. Thats even more absurd than this ill-considered forced account linking where nothing gets linked/shared between those accounts at all anyway.

I got the same answer, but they just asked account name and characters names, they didn't ask transaction ids. They should really prioritize this kind of things because we've spent a lot of money on microtransactions.

Same here, got linked somehow to wrong PSN account (I think was logged on same browser), the site does not show PSN account name which is linking to and now I can`t play on my playstation using my progression from steam. Support asked for account name and char names which I answered very quickly and then nothing for days...

Site should have a remove link button btw...

did you get a fantastic deal on the EA with steam? i would've thought steam would allow you to just link your existing account as well.
