savannah map is extremely laggy

especially with a juiced map, then if you add in delirium and fire on the ground... my sound even cuts in and out. it needs some MAJOR optimizations.

Same problem! On the Savannah map there is VERY, VERY lag, fps is 20-30... And if delirium, it’s generally impossible to play (((
Creek lags more than Savannah due to its water effects.
It is one of the maps that suffers from insanely bad optimization. It may not be as noticeable on a high end PC, but when you are barely scraping by, you notice the massive drop in framerates once it consistently stays below 30 fps. I'm of course not sure what is causing it, perhaps it's all the crags around the map. But it feels as if this game seemingly aren't culling things not rendered on screen, it's as if it renders everything, all at once, all the time, not what is on the screen. The engine is definitely suffering from some serious optimization issues. Or maybe they are using extremely high resolution models on things that can get by on much lower polygon counts with how small they are due to the isometric nature of the game, or there's something else going on.

I also have this problem. Worse than almost any other map.
Well, I have to say the game is generally laggy for me. It needs some serious optimizing imho.

I noticed this too when playing with another minion witch and we opened a strongbox.
