HELP!!! None of my minions are spawning!

It started in act 2 with my witch. The 2 warrior wouldn't spawn from my scepter. Now, in act 3,no minions spawn! My build is unplayable.
For reference i have sniper minions, warriors from my scepter, and raging spirits. Nothing spawns

Ok, so figured it out. For some reason my scepter was in my toon's hands. I had to assign a skill to equipment slot 1 and use it. Sure enough it popped into her hands and all my minions came back.
