Zarokh, the Temporal keeps attacking after death

I killed the boss but he continued to do his spinning lightning attack and killed me . I didn't think he would keep attacking so I did not expect to have to potion or run. I lost a Desperate Alliance vase relic due to his. Hope to see it fixed.
