Acolyte + crossbow opinion

Anyone playing this way?

Want to transform my monk a little bit.

Thinking to pick chaos damage passives, also eldritch battery + mind over matter + lightining passives and some poison passives.

Can it work?

Survivability would be from insta mana leech + recover 2% mana on kill and maybe belt X % of Damage taken Recouped as Mana.

Also maybe crossbow with mana leech.

So damage mainly I guess would be from poison and crossbow skills.

What do you think can it work? Would be enough damage from poison?
