Explosive shot not working at all

I have been playing with a merc with explosive shot since the beginning of Poe2. For 1 or 2 days I can't fire the explosive shot. This is new and I didn't alter anything. It was working fine. When I press the firing button of the explosive shot in my PS5, I see that it is beeing pressed, but it doesnt fire at all. Can someone help me?
