Share your divine orb farm strategy and your hourly rate

How many divine orbs do you farm per hour? and no I don't mean only the ones who drop but also the ones you make from selling rares or other items. Please share your strategy and what you consider to be better between selling carrying, flipping and mapping.

Lastly, why do ritual tablets cost so much? is this a good mechanic? tbh I like it much more than breach but how often do you get audience with the king or a sellable rare? On some leeches that I participated, the boosters seem to run breaches only, they don't seem to care much about rituals so I'm curious why it's so expensive.

I'm like 9 divine orbs away from completing what I would call a "viable build" for clearing breaches fully. I need a spirit neck who also give +3 to minions and a spectre with much more spirit and +5 on minions so that I get to 500 spirit from 370 and +10 to minions from +9, that's a lot of extra minions. I can clear most stuff easily now but I'm not good on breaches, I couldn't even reach the boss with the breachstone. I failed the timer.

What mechanic do you think that I should focus now until I complete my build? what's the best method for an entry level build with low rarity (50%) and not fully maxxed out on dps?

Why would we do that...PoE2 is plagued by the same problem that PoE1 has...How many divines can you get per hour, not how much you can have per hour.
Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

Efficiency leads to fun. More divines->more builds to play with, more creativity, more pinnacle bosses....Sorry but in this game, most of the stuff requires divine orbs.

This is like saying that a FPS player should focus on having fun and not on learning to aim, how can you have fun in a fps if you don't know how to aim and kill? Impossible. Farming divine orbs is the equivalent of this on poe 2.

This assumes that the higher the skill level the more "fun" can be derived from playing. This is not necessarily true--especially if the game uses a matchmaking system to pair players of (relatively) equal skill. The higher up the ladder, the more sweaty the gameplay. If you're looking to achieve or prove something by being the highest; this can be a motivator but also can be more stressful than enjoyable.

Ever find a mirror in PoE? Ever come to the immediate existential realization that you now have more currency than you can spend? Why continue farming for divines when you effectively have 700+? I've found a mirror twice and both times the wind was immediately taken out of my sails and I didn't play much after that.

And yes, there's plenty of ways to invest mirrors into certain builds but there's a huge difference between having 1 mirror of wealth vs something like 4+.

There's a healthy balance where the most fun I've had (in PoE and other games) was when I was successful enough but not so successful I questioned the 'purpose' of playing further. Everyone likely has their own value propositions in this regard and so no one person is more correct than the other. It's a value specific to the individual.
Per hour? About 0,125 - 0,25. I don't play meta builds so I can't do the most juiced content in the most effective way. But having a lot of fun in the process.

If i were you i'd forget about breaches as a minion summoner and focus on something else. Even when you'll be decked out in gear you'll have inconsistent breach runs due to minion AI, no convocation, inconsistency of minion respawn by weapon switching and clearing speed in general. If you really really want to do breaches then reroll to a different class. As things stand now breach is probably the worst mechanic for minion witch.

I'd recommend running sekhema whenever you get a barya from maps. It's very minion friendly and the last boss is a joke for witches since for the only dangerous skill he has you can stand in a corner and not get hit while minions do the work. If you see you'll fail the hourglasses you can quickly go to char selection and thus restart the boss fight.

For maps mechanic i'd probably say ritual and expedition after that?

I’m playing a slow monk, was gonna get my 4th asc from chaos but I was thinking of doing some Sekhema again for farming (lvl 88) since I have like 10 of them in my stash. Never done the last fight tho. What is a good hour glass layout? I only have 25% Ms boots maybe 30% total with passives

Trial of sekhemas is not so good because in the 4th floor, my minions stuck a lot on some maps especially the portal clearing ones, there are some very narrow passages.

Do the last boss drop anything good? do you think I can carry 5 others with my current gear? (370 spirit, +9 minions, 280% minion damage, 8k health)

I was thinking too that rituals is a good mechanic, I never had an issue with it, does it help to have rarity with this mechanic? is there a higher chance to get an audience with the king on the rolls? How many runs do you need to get an audience or a sellable rare? is it much worse as a mechanic compared to breach for other classes?

You have to get used to weapon switching. Whenever you're running through the narrow stair passages switch to 2nd weapon to despawn the minions and when you reach the protal/ rare mobs swithc back to main weapon to resummon the minions. It will always give a huge burst damage since all of the minions will spawn on that mob. Also i'd recommend getting blink for weapon set 2 for faster movement.

Last boss has the potential to drop against the darkness jewel relic which (if u aren't planning of running it yourself) sells for 1-3 divs depending on the market (that's my numbers on what i sold it most and least at). The chest room after the boss has the potential to spawn the Time Lost jewel golden chest, royal chests for general jewels so it's a win win for you since you'll be open to getting jewels for your build.

Now as far as carrying others, up until the last boss, yeah. Last boss carries only if you get 40 % speed boost boon and have blink for burst of movement since you have a lot less time for his one hit kill gimmick in a party. And even then you can get a really terrible hourglass spawn and get screwd.

I doubt rarity influences the audience spawn but maybe some1 else can give insight on that. Eficiency and resources wise it's definitely worse than breach but only at a point when you can clear breaches consistently and that will never be a minion witch at least at the current state of the game.

Good layout is when they are all close to one another. 25 percent is enough while soloing. I was solo farming it with 25 boots without bigger issue. In the worst case scenario if you see you won't make it you can (at least for now) quit to character selection and restart the boss again when you log back in.
