Going to add my voice to the choir re 'single portal per map'
I know it's been said many times before by many others, but I'm going to add my voice to the feedback to say: losing the map on a single (often inscrutable) death.
I'm no masochist, and I'm not playing to be punished. I leave hardcore and ruthless mode to others. If anything is going to make me quit POE2, it's losing the map on a single death. It's just. not. fun. - here's my sig Last bumped on Jan 18, 2025, 10:28:19 PM

I 100% agree, and not only to the 1map use. But the "Ruthless" mechanics just in general.
What they done in POE2 are basically removed the Softcore game mode and made the Ruthless game mode that are highly unpopular by majority of players, forced on all players. Come on.... there´s a reason Ruthless and Hardcore game mode are only played by a small minority of players in all games that have the option of Softcore. Most players don´t want a constant sweatfest.... |

Standard League should be made for CASUALS! If you want more challenge go hardcore. Remove re-spec cost, make all six portals usable on maps, reduce resistance debuffs. Make people want to stay on the standard, when they become more tryhards they will migrate to hardcore where the GGG vision can flourish.

it's stupid. it adds nothing to the game with all the possible oneshots from high tier maps
but they're not making this game any better right now because they sold it enough until they have someting big to pay ads for across the internet and bring in more fresh meat so yeah. don't expect they really care about any current players feedback anytime soon. go play something else |
