Ascendency points fubar'd ?

Hello . I wondered if i could get some help on this issue. I have completed 3 trials at the end of the third trial . i got a trial completed .Just as i died . I lost the stone and could not get to pick the passive points up . It also seems now every trial i do i cant get points for . i have 4 points right now but believe i should have 6 . If i skip a level and go for trial 4 i will still only get 2 point for it .This will put me on 6 when i should be on 8 . This has to be a bug . any help appreciated. Char : Lanilore. thank you
