PS5 MTX Cross overs make me sad. PS5 POE1 to PS5 POE2 doesn't work..

So today I decided to take a few hours to do research and testing.
I've read about how MTX on PS5 doesn't cross over to PC etc but that's where
my ideas started to roll.

I primarily play on PS5 and have had my account linked to the website since beta
launch. My idea was "I'll download POE 1 on my playstation, buy $5 worth of points and buy a random MTX that's known to be available on POE2."

So i went ahead and made sure i was linked on POE1, and bought something.
Come to find out nothing on PS5 POE1 will cross over to PS5 POE2. At least in my testing it didn't work. I figured since i bought the points through playstation it would work but I guess not.

If anyone has tested something different with better results please let me know.
I really want the Divergence Character Effect and Revenant Wings lol....

Check you bought it on the same sub account as your poe2 character

I know someone on ps5 and his mtx from 1 is available

I made sure because my MTX from POE2 are on POE1. Character Portrait frames etc from the POE2 Bundles.

Don't know then sorry, I dropped ps5 in a fit of pique over the pc thing

OKAY so i figured out the issue. It was my fault. i didnt realize at the character select screen of POE1 You're able to switch which account you're playing on in which i was on the Website account. I swapped over to my PSN account (the one i play POE2 on) and will try buying something now. TY for the spark of inspiration.

Want to know if it worked.

The problem is created by Sony; they are too greedy and demand exclusive features when they "allow" a game to be released on their subpar platform.
