I got 30 favour from a ritual in a T16 map
|
Ritual is actually so bad it's hilarious sometimes. I got 5K favour in a map and found a king in the mists invite. I deferred after the first ritual thinking I wouldn't be able to afford and might die before getting another chance to defer it.
I am now running ritual nodes to get the invite and I ran a forge map. I got 850 combined from the first 2 and I shit you not, I got 30 FAVOUR from the final ritual. This is just a straight up broken mechanic in it's current state and the problem is obvious. Stop putting rituals in corridors that can only fit 3 enemies! Create a circle for the ritual to spawn in! Favour is fine in a maps like Steppe but complete nonsense in probably 80% of other maps. Yes, at least half the maps are atrocious for league mechanics. In Crypt (which is a small map too) you can get various mechanics spawn on top of each other (eg. an essence ontop of a breach hand).
League mechanics need to be accommodated in their own wider areas in the map - similarly how in PoE 1, Betrayal fortifications in narrow map layouts create a wider area for themselves. When night falls

" Better yet; just remove all "narrow" maps. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

My opinion is that porting ritual to POE2 was kind of a misstep with the atrocious map layouts.
Also, I'm not 100% sure this is true, but from my experience in POE1 the ritual only respawned monsters that were killed INSIDE of the circle (and of course that they originally spawned in the circle to begin with). This would create the problem that if you use a slower build (movement-wise and clearspeed-wise), you will inevitably drag monsters OUT of the circle, and when you kill them outside, they won't respawn. If this is true, it is a MASSIVE oversight in design. This wasn't a huge problem in POE1 because players were generally faster than the average monster (unlike POE2) AND EVERYONE had blink skills. So this is another indirect reward for playing those uber zoom meta builds. |

Some maps are to avoid when you just deffered an invitation or a purple omen.
I avoid rerolling if i don't have at least 700-1000 tribute after the reroll because i missed 1 invitation by missing only 46 tribute one time, and it make me in bad mood, still upsetting. MIRE, FORGE, CRYPT, MINESHAFT, are to avoid like plague but as they got often irradiated (bad rng or game preference ?), it is tempting to use a T15 on them, as you will often burn your T16 in an ugly rate when trying to get those few purple good omens. I have seen more purple Omens the last days but couln't afford to deffer 2 of them, because they spammed after rerolling 1 time or twice, so even with 3K tribute left couln't deffer, and that's also BS, i understand they are hard to get but i can doi it 20 times if needed, just want at least the option to be able to deffer it. i used 3 of the whittling i found hoping to get an upgrade on my weapon, and got 2x T1 phys mod on elem weapon, and T4 fire now in place of deeply wanted cold/lightning mod, 30 div wasted atm ^^ For Purple Omens and Logbooks 79-80 you are forced to use good deli T15-T16 (pack size, rare and magic monsters) if you want to maximize your tribute. |

I would like to see the visibility increased for ranged builds, right now it's a little too tight for builds that depend on dodging/not getting hit. Another issue is the low performance, it's like the only place in the game where it drop to 40fps on my RTX 3080/Ryzen 5800x.

I explain this and more of why these mechanics dont work in hallway maps in my post here : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3718375
and its very important that we shed light on this as the game doesnt function as intended in hallway maps |
