Researchers Strongbox remained locked

Path of Exile 2, early Access: T7 Mire Map, i found a blue strongbox where i used a identification scroll, a augmentation orb and regal orb on it. Opened it, it spawned monsters as well as the chaos barrage effect, i defeated every spawn but it remained locked. I searched the entire map for mobs, 0 remained, i moved all items around the lockbox out of the way, tried relogging but nothing worked. Strongbox remained locked.
