Console Custom Loot filter (custom sounds) Not Working
I created a loot filter off of the filter blade website with custom sounds, and game and community sounds on specific items. It shows up fine on console to select the filter, but when i select it nothing changes and everything shows up as if there is no loot finder selected.
I'm unsure as to why the base loot filters i use from Neversink are working fine, but when I try to add a sound to specific items, the entire loot filter stops working entirely. Anyone else have this problem? It says at the end to download sounds and put them into your POE folder, but i don't beleive you can do this for console. Last bumped on Jan 24, 2025, 2:29:33 PM

Custom sounds are for the PC community. You have access to the folders where custom sounds would be saved on PC. Sony and Microsoft don't allow access to the OS file structure of their consoles. If GGG tried to add the option for custom sounds, they'd have to include them in a patch, and than which ones? How big would that patch be? There's such a diversity of players wanting something different.
You should be able to assign different OEM sounds to a filter though. I had a filter near the end of a league in POE1 that covered the item text, filtered most items out that I didn't care about and made the divine drop sound every time. It was fun for a minute. I haven't messed around with the filters yet, just using a stock neversink one for now, so don't know if what I said will work for Poe2 but it should. If you have a PC and can she'll put another $30, switch and use your controller there if you want custom and sounds. Also, any hacks that come out for PS or Xbox to access the file structure has typically made that console no longer able to get on its respective game network, POE1 and Poe2 are online only. So you'd be hurting yourself there. We'll probably never be able to upload our own sounds for the filter |

This is how I got the filters to work. Download PoE1 and run a map, close game. Boot up PoE2 and select your filter after logging in with a character. Not sure how long itll work for though.
