Make chats separate again !

I don't play in softcore leagues, but I suppose the situation is the same over there ?

Why, oh WHY, were HC and HCSSF global channel merged ?!
I play HCSSF only, I enjoy the game that way and the chat was fun, lighthearted and nice to participate in most of the time.

Now ? it's filled with stuff HCSSF players do NOT want to see, spams about carries, gear sold and bought, etc. And especially NOT this stupid war about traders being second-class players compared to ssf players and ssf players being hermits with no friends compared to trading players !


We want our old chat back ! Our tranquility back ! our discussions about Titan being bugged back, without the overall TOXICITY that this merge brought !

So your solution for those who don't appreciate a sudden resurgence of toxicity in their chat is... to isolate themselves and not chat anymore ?

Chat has NEVER BEEN SEPARATE. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the complaint?

In POE1 SSF players use channel 773 if you go to global 1 you'll be mixed with trade players, I know this because joining chat sometimes glitches and defaults you to a random global. Also I know this because every once in a while some 2Header will link a trade item in 773 because they don't understand that /whois exists and for some reason are seeking unearned validation from randoms (weird but whatever). This always results in a fun round of "get out filthy trade scum" memes that are 90% self aware meta irony and probably 10% actual elitism.

I can only assume you used to be in 773 and been there for so long that you think SSF and trade are split when they are not.

Chat in POE1 or POE2 appear to be entirely and exactly identical, even to the point where 773 is used by us ethical SSF BTW enjoyers.

This is about PoE 2, not PoE 1, you misunderstood the complain totally.

In PoE 2 chats were separate before the latest update.
Now they are merged, and it is an endless flow of toxicity that has nothing to do with lighthearted banter.

Agree with OP. I really enjoyed the chat prior to last patch. I play SSF only, not interested in trade or all these random requests for carrie’s

None, both are empty.

The only way is to make our opinion known.

The merge makes no sense whatsoever and only produced toxicity and an end to casual chatting and sharing of informations.
