FYI:cArn died twice in lvl.99/50%exp TWICE and that's why GGG fixed the invisible bug
As title.
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3697854/page/1#p25868409 GGG deliberately ignores many known bugs, even when a large number of players suffer because of them. However, the moment a prominent streamer experiences significant losses due to these issues, GGG reacts immediately. Remember when Lily died in Delve due to a party inviting bug? That issue had already been reported in the bug report section long before. However, GGG only decided to fix it after she lost a hardcore character during her livestream. Streamer's live is more important than average player. [Removed by Support] Last edited by JC_GGG#0000 on Jan 17, 2025, 5:57:18 AM Last bumped on Jan 19, 2025, 3:28:26 AM

It's not even about streamers like Carn, GGG has no Q&A team so they only become aware of issues when it's public like this with video proof.

Ofc they care only about streamers, lol.
They don't just randomly go to youtube to look for peoples streams and when the streamer struggles and dies, they take a note and the present this at the next meeting saying "we might need to buff this skill, we might need to nerf this enemy". They see a big streamer die and they are scared that people won't play and buy those juicy supporter packs for a thousand dollars and that's why they are freaking out and swoop in like a bunch of ninjas to save the game by fixing it FOR this streamer. They have zero Q&A, that is correct, but they also don't read our complaints, and they also do not think anything is relevant. If the game had a monthly subscription system then they would since everyone leaving or cancelling would mean they'd be freaking out because the money melts away. But this way, and I have noticed this in POE 1 as well, the attitude that seems to be the case is "the game is free so you are subject to whatever we want to do". Healthcare in my country is also free, does that mean i should be subjected to eldritch horror like experiments on my body because "its free so we can do with you what we want?". GGG needs to stop having an attitude and needs to return to THIS realm of existence, not up in the clouds thinking they gods. |

" " Just to be clear here, they have to QA/test before any change/patch/Release lol. Even one employee at the very least lol (so perhaps maybe not a dedicated team), but there's just no way they don't QA/test lol (whatever you want to call it -- "hybrid" roles). Hopefully you're referring to no dedicated team post-launch/Release lol (that's still questionable. lol). But to say "no QA" or "zero QA"...ya that's just wrong lol. And yes -- even that QA/test will not pickup every bug before a patch/release lol of course obviously not (hence, the Hotfix). Oh that explains all the mess and negative sentiments all over Reddit/YT/etc of the Early Access, right - no QA/testing (wrong) -- lol. " Yes +1 overall. Streamer Customers are the priority though...lol. "PoE1 Clone Has No Future!" ;) | EA 0.2 | Trade is EZ mode. ;) | Path of Trading ;) | "TLDR: -1 Devs ohhh" (Lol.) | "I've played a lot of videogames. It's my primary recreational activity. Best games ever: Elden Ring and Diablo 4." ~Elon Musk, 2023 | "Dawg", "IQ 48" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ | [Removed by Support]

Streamers being the priority might work, but you see, Streamers and their audience have pea brain attention mode permanently engaged.
When POE isnt the shit any more, they move on to the next title, the Streamer plays, and the audience follows to also play that game, cause it seems awesome. After that, the next game. And the next. Streamers are switches, they go from one to next, and dont care about what they left behind. A streamer who does (nearly) only one singular content (Joshimuz with GTA San Andreas for example) needs a very very devoted audience. And most audiences are as jumpy and switchy as the Streamer themself. The game the Streamer plays isn't good? Views go down a lot. Balancing a game around that customer branch is suicide. You need to balance a game around the wide public, not a single person, or a group of 3-4 people. The additional customers those streamers bring in will quit the game, as soon as the streamer does, or as soon as they realize, the way they play versus the way the streamer plays, is too different, game too hard, ok i quit. |

Makes you wonder if they even have logs of what is going on in their game.
