Just completed Trials of the sekhemas for the second time
Just finished it again on my alt. First time I did it on my main is a monk. I created a warrior last week and have completed the trials a second time.
Once I got used to the way the trials worked everything became really easy. Stacking honor resistance, not taking afflictions that hide rooms or affliction descriptions, trying to get as much sacred water as possible to buy plus 50 percent damage or the plus 40 percent speed boost, and generally never taking an affliction unless I'm forced to. When I first started playing I thought the trials were a dumb idea. Now I like it. Plus you get to keep all the relics and spaces you can put them in the relic altar after you beat the trial for the first time. Makes completing it on your alt a lot easier. If anyone needs any tips let me know. I won't pilot you through the trials but I can give some tips. Keep up the good work GGG. I really enjoyed the challenge of getting through these trials. Now to the rest of you. Git gud. Last bumped on Jan 17, 2025, 3:23:12 PM

Dude bragging about second trial LOLOLOL
Seen it all. PoE 1 is the best. PoE 2 is something.

" My man I'm talking about the 4th ascendancy. Stay mad tho
" That's the real reason i take issue with all the negative posts about Sekhema. Because people clearly don't bother to play it. They do a run, get their honour depleted, never try again and cry on the forums. Once you stack that resist to 75 the honour meter barely budges even if you get hit. After that it all comes down to actually paying attention to routes. " Clearly need to read a book or two. |

" Agreed 100%. That's why I put so much effort in showing support for the way the game is currently so the devs don't cave into people who want everything handed to them. They want a 'chill' game they can have on their second monitor and watch videos while playing. They don't want to get punished for deaths, they don't want to work for anything, they don't want to die to anything period, and it's very annoying. They're are a bunch of arpgs out there already like that where your deaths are meaningless. For once can we have an arpg that tests your resolve, creativity, and skill? Everyone was complaining about how easy D4 was before poe2 came out. Turns out a whole generation of gamers have been tainted with easy games that gives you everything just for participating.
I am on the 3rd trial and it is total trash for a minion build. I can do all the trials but the fire trap ones. My minion gets hit and i take a bunch of AOE flame dot damage. It is completely lame that I need to despawn my minions for every trap. then hope there are no mobs on the other side.
When something is not fun for the MAJORITY, then it needs to be changed. Can it be done? yes, is it fun? Hell no. Makes me want to delete the game. Mind you, this is the ONLY mechanic I do not like in the game atm. |

" It's not the majority. You are the vocal minority
" ur minions getting hit by the traps is actually rly handy! especially on the traps later on for the 4th ascension. u can use the minions to body block the white bubbles and just literally walk through that one passage without issues. dont forget u can commmand ur minions where to go. also -> minions do not trigger/interact w all traps. as example the floor traps (like those in boss room no 3) they dont activate them. for respawning faster -> use weaponswitch! |

" You're doing something very wrong and for some reason blame the game for it. Farm Sekhema as a minion witch myself without issue. Minions blocking traps is the best part. |

" Exactly these people are quick to blame the game rather then look at themselves. I've had to restart my builds multiple times because I kept failing. I never blamed the game. I took a step back and said what can I change? How can I improve? Each time I've done this I keep improving more and more. Don't get me wrong the game is still rough around the edges and things do need to be worked on. But stop trying to change the core concept of the game because you cannot look inward and improve the way you play the game |
