Perspective from a Casual Dad

I'm very new to ARPGs and my first one was Diablo 4 and I absolutely loved it and this game is definitely different. This is coming from the perspective of a Dad with 4 kids and not as much time to play. I generally don't like it when any of these PVE games nerf builds, because I play games for fun and it's fun to be overpowered.

However, I can see it from the developer's perspective as well that you don't want a build in the game that is just 1 shotting pinnacle bosses. The counter to this is, the normal player isn't likely achieving this build.

IMO, I think you should make the campaign a bit more accessible in order to keep those newer players engaged with your game. It seems like when you make it to the mansion, the difficulty scale just goes crazy and I'd used the campaign to get people ready for the endgame.

A few things that I'm not a fan of:

1. Character collision, I normally don't play solo, usually play with my bro and the amount of tight hallways in this game, that character collision on friendlies is very annoying. I don't mind it on the enemies because I understand their reasoning that if you position yourself bad you should be punished but on friendlies, its just frustrating.

2. I'm trying to craft through the campaign and upgrade my stuff and engage with that system, but I can't, because I never have enough orbs.

3. On controller, if you're moving and touch your inventory button, your character keeps on running but you don't know because the inventory takes up your full screen which isn't a problem solo because it pauses the game, however, when playing co-op, can be a death sentence.

4. Too many one shot boss mechanics that are not telegraphed that are very frustrating to a casual player OR too many boss mechanics at one. At one point in the Jamanra fight, I had 3 tornadoes, two lightning bolts as well as having to pay attention to the boss mechanics to dodge roll at the exact right time (which seems to track you anyway)... like when do I get a chance to damage the boss? It feels like a lot of these fights are just dealing with mechanics the whole time instead of using your abilities (unless you have a build that can freeze, shock or generally one shot the boss).

Just for some additional perspective, I've also beat through the entire game to mapping in the endgame.

No the campaign is great. You need to get better.
Did you even ask anyone for help or advice before you decided it's the game's fault and not yours?
