Lost a map due to stuttering!

Playing through Sump, stuttering occurred while moving. I use a PS 5 controller, wired, brand new.
Could not even pause, whack!
Now I have to be punished for a death that was out of my control!

Unreal, so much for the game pausing when this occurs.
I know, early access.
