45 Divine Scepter disappearing act! (Serious problem, ruined the game!)

Hello support,

On 01/13/24 at roughly 11:35 PM Eastern I was playing POE2 and during the game the omen Scepter that I had spent nearly 100 hours of gameplay to earn and trade magically disappeared from my hands during gameplay. When I went to look for the item thinking it fell out of the hands of the character….. It was no where to be found on the map.

This item was not deleted. 
It just disappeared. …..
In shock I went online to see if anyone else had similar issues and to find out there are hundreds, if not, thousands of other players with the exact same problem. I have personally spent over $150 in this game and nearly 200 hours of my time spent playing this game. I am asking that GGG Support please do the right thing and either provide my character with the 50 divine orbs to trade back an omen scepter, or either provide my character with the the item I had at the time it was deleted.

Request:
1. Replace:
The item: +5 minion 200 spirit Omen Sceptre.

2. Fund 50 divine Orbs so I can trade for the replacement of the item.

3. Refund the $250 I have spent in this game as well as compensate for the 200+ hours spent building to create this item, the game is now unplayable…

Please understand without this item the game is now unplayable. I am unable to earn enough currency to trade for a similar item as I am currently at T7 maps and lower quality items do not provide the same damage which immediately kills the character.
Also, due to the fact that EXP is lost each time, a character dies without having the original item in hand, my character is now too weak to survive, which eliminates the reason to play the game in its entirety.

I would greatly appreciate an immediate response.

By any chance you had a full inventory?

Mine just disappeared today also, if you have a full inventory, support gems equipped in the skill of the scepter/staff, and try to swap the staff with one in inventory, instead of the equipped going to inventory, it just vanishes.

Just gone, not on ground, not in second weapon set, not in stash, simple lost the item.

Man I am not even sure this is just bait...

Lately so many weird posts like this, and I have to say, posts have really gotten weird.

I mean why even come to the forums. This seems like a help desk request. Also, even if they did reply to you here they would tell you to contact support.

Yes, I had a full inventory unfortunately, in this game, you always have a full inventory.
I’ve bought like 10 stash tabs at this point, the worst part was it picked up a really bad scepter which should of never been able to happen, as I was fighting and mine which was a +5 minion 200 spirit just disappeared. The worst part is I went in after being shocked to trade and that same scepter is 45 divines.

At this point, the games unplayable and I don’t have an interest in restarting a new character putting another 70 hours in to get to endgame just for it to happen again it’s really insane.

This forum specifically states bugs or discussions regarding the problems with the game. Considering that this weapon is a very rare weapon. It is the primary source of a complete minion build. It’s a pretty serious bug.

The cost for this scepter is roughly 45 vines, that would take a normal player weeks to earn that much currency. It also makes the build and the character completely unplayable now if I use a different Scepter, that’s 50 exalted, I go from 15 minions to probably 9 and lower damage. How do you think that’s gonna go on tier 10 or tier 15 map..

Just test what i posted in mine, if you want i can record a youtube video showing the main weapon will just be deleted, no prompt no warning, nothing.

There seens to be a bug when you try swapping your sceptre/staff with another one from inventory, you have support gems equipped in the skill from sceptre, and a full inventory.

I lost my sceptre too Im not even asking it back, but its a bug, hope it gets fixed and no one else loses it.

We can not restore dead hardcore characters or lost items for any reason. This is a general policy and we do not make exceptions. Due to bugs, items may be lost or characters may die due to reasons outside of your control. We are working hard to fix the underlying problems so that such losses do not occur in the future.

If you think you've lost your weapons, you've probably swapped to the alternate weapon tabs by pressing X. Please try toggling back with the X key before posting a bug report about it.

Now that I think about it. It’s also strange that malice disappeared and I also lost the skill gym. Clarity
seems like a pretty serious bug. All the developer would need to do is make sure you cannot pick up another weapon from the ground to swap out which can’t be done with any other weapon in the game. For example, if I have a bow in my hand, and I walk past a bow on the ground, it’s not going to immediately swap the weapon it would put it in your inventory. This seems like a simple coding issue.

I’m assuming this thread probably got burnt no worries there’s many others with the same problem. My community is going to let you guys know. Thank you.
