Cant follow item filters

I have a merged account. that I am currently using to play PoE2 on both Pc and Console (PS5).
The primary account i am using (this account) is the original steam/PC account. And this account cannot follow any PoE2 item filters. If i switch to the account that originally came from PSN, it can follow PoE2 item filters just fine for some reason, but thats not where any of my characters are, just one old character i played briefly on PS4 years ago.
