[Couch Coop] Let us move further apart to avoid big blows

In Couch Coop, when one moves in one direction and the other in the opposite direction, usually to avoid a blast / smash / Post death effect, the distance we can move is so limited that we frequently get King of the Misted into oblivion. Please let is move further apart temporarily, by zooming out maybe even temporary split screen (like Larian's games) or... , just so we can avoid big blasts when we need to make an instant decision.

+1, though I have a slightly different suggestion:

it would be nice to actually be able to move to the edge of the screen only when you’re on opposite sides. That way you can dodge right up to the edge, then realize you’re obviously far apart and correct your distance. When the duo is closer together, the game should not let you to walk to the edge (as is the case already), which indicates no one is too far away. I believe Diablo 4 works like this too (or at least, it’s a lot less of a problem there).

As it stands, sometimes you’re pulling each other but you likely won’t notice since you’re not at the edge of the screen. A roll, then, can easily get you killed since you’ll just roll in place if you’re pulling your partner. This kills us frequently as well.
