So considering the development don't even know how chaos inoculation works...

If they make it so poison ignores shields, wouldn't that make ci pointless?

poison already ignores shields, but it's chaos damage.

They were talking about bleeding only being able to be inflicted when damaging life- which they didnt seem to know. But if it didn't behave that way than all bleeds will instantly kill CI characters.
OK was worried for a bit there haha

yeah i was kind of confused by this part.

didnt it specifically say in one of the prerelease videos that ci was effectively immune to bleed?

how could ci even work if its not bleed immune?

i dunno, that bit was rly odd. what am i missing? anyone?
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
bleed damage could apply to ES for CI characters, instead of CI giving full bleed immunity. I just hope that bleed doesn't bypass MoM, otherwise I'm pretty screwed.
They didn't know how Rarity works either.
CI is a cancer and always has been. There should never - at any point - exist a mechanic that grants complete immunity to a damage type. Neither for players or enemies. I've always hated CI for that very reason, because, in the past, the devs were actually open to this type of thinking and rebalanced many things accordingly. Hydra was literally immune to Poison on release. And non-damaging ailments got rebalanced to be usable on high HP enemies for those reasons, too.
