Warrior Feedback

So it's clear they're still taking feedback on what direction to take the warrior from the recent interview.

Just to give my 2 cents; I hope they don't just speed up all mace skills. Not saying don't speed them up at all of course, but I do like that maces are distinctly different feeling from other skills in the game. Personally feel like the issue lies more in how punishing it is to stand still for a second or two, from how fast ranged mobs volley into you (like the little spiky dudes) to how fast mobs like breach are and leave little time to get these slams off before swarmed and heavily damaged; or even armour not keeping up with the damage of white mobs (which Johnathan mentioned).

I say all of this because when spears, swords, daggers etc. come in, we will have plenty of fast melee. There's no reason to speed up maces to such a degree to mimic those other weapons when they could come up with some more interesting solutions that allows these slow attacks to actually function where they currently do not. Whether that's beefing up our defensives like armour or just straight mitigation during their swings, lowering how much damage white mobs/basic attacks do and slowing their speed of approach, increase the size of the slams, or likely a combination of things; my feedback is to implore GGG to come up with a better solution then just letting maces instantly slam in order to keep up with mobs incoming speed and damage. There are plenty of skills that already do this, I hope something more interesting comes from fixing maces.

All they need to do is make armor actually fucking work.
That's it. Armor should do what armor does.
My warrior had to buy a DRESS with a magic bubble to handle endg game mobs and still gets blown up when I juuuust barely miss a dodge roll during boss fights.
Disappointing is how I feel about this game. Had so much fun just to realize my whole 300hrs ends in abject humiliation
