New league soon?

After watching the announcement today it seems like they aren't going to nerf any builds/uniques anymore and want to do it with a new league. Wasn't expecting one so soon but it sounds like once we get new classes they are going to put this current league in the dumpster.

Do you think this is going to happen any time soon? How are players new to PoE going to react to everything they have done in the past month or so being essentially invalidated?

no league soon. They care more about maps than fixing classes, current mechanics or anything that's going to impact getting to maps.

Im bit worried as well that it was neglected.
One could think that early access will get patch updates with missing PoE 2 standard features, but becouse if they need to reset economy to give warrior sword might be just beta testing access or will older early access characters get to use new things form newer early acces idk
