No buffs to warrior and mace skills??? GGG what are you doing?

they were just asked about the Warrior being worst in all aspects currently - Defense, Ofense, survivability - and all they were able to say is "well, uhm, i cant really say you arent right there" ...

They already nerfed armor explosion so that was enough. Why bother fixing classes and the main point of playing the game when they can tweak a couple numbers for mapping cause everyone loves mapping.
IN other news Diablo4 season 7 is out on the 21st of this month. Melee plays much better there. |

I think they are just against the idea of blasting, even though that is what everyone wants to do endgame, and what the meta will always be regardless of how hard they nerf everything.
The whole fantasy of maces being slow but hitting hard just doesn't work and never will unless it has insane AoE and dmg to make up for it and it really doesn't even with extremely high investment. The bigger problem is low level warriors, and mid investment warriors do not have the tools to survive very well outside of maybe turtle charm svalinn warbringer to actually sit inside pack after pack of mobs and windup their attacks. High investment warriors certainly do, but if it feels like shit for 95% of players thats a problem. And again it will just never be good if the design philosophy for warrior is going to be this slow lumbering thing. |

Dude the lead developers didn't even know that CI blocks bleed completely.
They haven't played the game yet. Tala Moana, Exile.

Warrior is so much slower than another class in the game though the campaign, it's hard to believe they don't know that.
It's really starting to make "GGG hates Warriors" look ligit, I mean all it takes is actually playing other classes to know how much worse Warriors are. Makes you wonder if we have Blizzard employees when they don't know how much slower Warrior is to level. |

i dont think they laughed it off, the laughed cause they know its true and they said many times that massive changes right across the board need to happen, that the top 5 things need enrfed down and the bottom 50 things need boosted up. they also said they havent got to the point where they are ready to address that yet, it will come with a big balance update that includes new content.
they know it needs changed, they will change it, they just dont know how yet. theyre buffing armour a little but know armour needs a fundamental rework, they just dont know what that looks like yet either. they cant tell you what changes theyre going to make until they have deep dived what is going wrong and theory crafted solutions. they made it very clear massive build balance was happening across the board and it will come in the big build balance patch. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
