Omen Crafting
First of all, omens are too rare for normal people to go on and experimenting crafting.
Second, is really hard to know what the omen will affect on the item. You have to go to a site and study every possible stats in a equipment to actually know. Please put a marker on the item and the possibilities on what the omen will actually do. Last bumped on Feb 15, 2025, 8:19:15 PM

GGG doesn't care about normal peoples, just streamers.

" I don't think as many people want in-game stats/odds as they think. Hovering an orb over an item to see that the 30 div omen you're using has a 0.72% chance of hitting the tier and affix you want is SO demoralizing to some people, even MORESO when you'd see bottom tier light radius sitting at like 17.4% chance or something. "Don't tell me the odds" is a very PoE thing. |

I always wanted Rog to be able to interact with normal items and not just with the ones you can buy from him. This would be way more fun to interact with, much more powerful and would also make the whole crafting omen thing unnecessary.
Just let use collect crafting items (or recipes) that Rog can use to apply all kinds of item changes. Thematically that would make a lot of sense and you could try to get just the right crafting materials to push your items to the next level. Such a mechanism would take the good stuff from other POE1 solutions like veiled objects or the crafting bench. |

I think adding omens to the game would be a good change

Just found my first omen that affects chaos orbs in a ritual. it only cost 4k- to defer it (24k to buy).
I don't understand what GGG expects players to do with this. It's completely demotivating to have almost all of the crafting mechanics locked behind such rare items. And they aren't even that useful, the chaos orb is still more likely to make any crafts worse than better. Same deal with greater essences. |
