Powerful temporalis builds for merc, warrior or monk?

Just wondering if anyone had links to videos or builds that use temporalis that doesn't involve the lightning bolt amulet? I saved up to buy one but the lightning bolt build is very frustrating, keeps crashing and heaven forbid I play with a monk who uses the bell since it always freezes the game. I've been using it with a stormweaver, I know blood witch has a way to curb the freezing, but any other builds possible with like monk, warrior or merc? Thanks!

I've tried lifetap but it doesn't seem to work. Archmage + lifetap does work but I don't have the mana sustain to make it work, I just end up at 1 hp and 1 mana and can't cast anymore and just die. It's become too frustrating, I'm losing every other t15 map to crashes, I'd rather just play something else and not choir of the storm (which probably is gonna get nerfed)

At the risk of something both clunky and boring:
You could just try grenade spam. Some of them could be supported with supported with cooldown-speed-decreasing supports and still have 0 cooldown, depending on your roll. Question, though: Is lifetap required to make archmage help it not crash, or is running out of mana sufficient? Zaanus:
