Full PC Crash only on Map boss kills

In case this is helpful: I am having the full PC crash requiring a hard reset. For me it happens exclusively from killing a map boss when the corruption tentacles come out. I have recreated it 6+ times reliably. No other consistent crashes in any other situation for me, but it does this every time I kill a map boss and requires hard reset of PC.
