how the actual f*** are gold spawn mobs generated

Just had the most frustrating death from a mod. Had that aura that drained both health and mana, movements speed to chase me down and couldn't be damaged from melee strikes

What can you do against that? How is this spawned?

The most frustrating death in my whole time playing purely because I had no way to fight. No mana. Health drained. Draining aura large area. Fast moving. Tanky.

Not fun.

The lightning circle doesn't drain mana when you're inside the area.
