Pasting 'Zalgo' text in chat breaks some text-features in the client.

I tried to paste something along the lines of "VAAL IT" (actual zalgo in spoiler tags so I don't break the post:)
generated by https://zalgo.org/ into the general chat, but it said I couldn't post this because it can only contain ascii characters. But soon after I started noticing weird text issues in the client:









etcetera.

After restarting the client this behaviour is gone.

I'm guessing that even though it discards the chat input, some of the Unicode diacritics and other control characters are still interpreted and mess with the text rendering functionality of the client.
