Atlas node not accessible but should be

I have cleared out the node in the Atlas and it's green.

However the following node linked to it, is not accessible and is not lit up.



This is the only path through to the next area.
I don't know why the linked node does not light up for me to access it.

Is there a way to force the atlas to recalculate itself?
