Part of the endgame map missing

Part of the map I have already discovered has vanished into a grey zone.
Scrolling my mouse over it doesn't highlight any maps that were there, all the connections to the region are missing as well.
To make matters worse, there was Untainted Paradise, whitch I was hoping to run soon.
