Divine Orbs vanished from inventory

Hello,
I had 10 divine orbs yesterday. I upgraded my boots for 7 divines and had 3 divines remaining in my stash. Today I checked my stash to make another purchase, and Lo and behold, the rest of my divines were not in my stash. I checked all of my stash/currency tabs and they are no longer in my possession. I honestly do not understand what happened. Has anyone experienced this before? I can keep farming more divines but I am afraid of losing more like this in the future.
