PC freezing/crashing on loading screen

My computer keeps crashing during loading screens. This has caused me to hard restart my computer many times. It seems the during a loading screen the CPU usage maxes out and the computer locks up. I have tried reducing the amount of cores the game uses but still have the issue.

This has happened when entering maps, causing me to loose the map and the waystone. It's also happened as soon as I press my character to log in, making the game unplayable.



Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070

revert to windows 23H2 if you on 24h2, fixes all the crashes, dl windows media tool with the windows 23h2 patch, install windows (a clean new install, save your important stuff), install game new and you have no problems
