 TALA MOANA EXILES! Welcome to my build guide for the Siege Cascade Chronomancer in PoE 2 Early Access. I'm Lazy Exile, and I have been playing PoE for 10 years now on and off so I'm an experienced PoE player, I do enjoy playing off-meta and exploring things, and now I ended up playing Siege Cascade on my Chronomancer. All information is based on my impression of the game, which I have researched, played, and tested live as I write this guide. Don't expect all data to be 100% correct, and please correct/suggest things to me that might not be optimal as I'm not perfect. This build does use an interaction with Vine Arrow, and while it is an intended interaction and is not a bug or exploit. If this gets more popular GGG might take action against it. The Siege Cascade build is specifically designed for higher levels. You will likely need to rely on other skills while leveling up. I recommend transitioning to this build at level 65 after finishing the campaign. - Through the use of Blueflame Bracer, we convert our Siege Cascade to COLD and therefore let us chill and build up freeze on monsters.
- Now we have a source of chill, which then we'll use the Polcirkeln ring, which has a line that says enemies chilled by your hits can be shattered as though frozen, which means our Herald of Ice can now shatter chill enemies. - To further enhance the chain damage, we'll socket Herald of Ice with lightning damage support to use it and Shock enemies as they die, which will also now trigger Herald of Thunder, and this will chain off each other until all enemies in proximity are dead. - We'll also stack a lot of AoE into the build itself, which will scale with our Heralds, and Siege Cascade explosions, which makes the build excel in AoE clearing (not comparing to the meta build that is Spark or Lightning Arrow) - Through the use of Frost Wall, we can smoothly cast them on top of the monster packs and shoot Siege Cascade at it to start the very satisfying chain explosion. - For single-target damage, you'll use Vine Arrow because they don't collide with the boss and also don't get destroyed by Siege Cascade. This means you can keep shooting Siege Cascade on top of the vines and will melt any bosses in the game. - On top of this, you are a Chronomancer, so by scaling skill effect duration, your Time Freeze can last up to 15+ seconds, and Vine lasts up to 20 seconds. You get 15 seconds of free damage on any boss in the game (including Sanctum if you timed it right), and during those 15 seconds, you also get a free 90% MORE damage multiplier for Siege Cascade because Time Freeze is considered an immobilized debuff. - During maps, we'll use a combination of Frost Wall and Siege Cascade to blow up any packs, or just Siege Cascade if you have enough damage.
- For single-target damage, proceed to do the rotation as follows: 1. Shoot multiple Vine Arrows on the target, then put down War Banner. 2. Use Time Freeze (if haven't), and make sure you use it with the Weapon Set 2 to benefit from all the Skill Effect Duration (which is why I suggest doing this after steps 1) 3. Cast Frost Wall (to swap to Weapon Set 1, and avoid weapon swap bug), and use Emergency Reload. 4. - Hand of Wisdom and Action is a very good glove that allows us to stack Int for lightning damage and dexterity for attack speed which both benefit us greatly. We already have to travel from the Sorcerer starting area to the Mercenary area to grab the AoE Clusters so we can take a lot of good attribute nodes along the way.
- Rampart Raptor doesn't have any base damage, but it doesn't matter because HoWA is responsible for all of our damage. However, Rampart Raptor has amazing stats for Siege Cascade. Increased Attack Speed means we attack faster, and increased bolt speed means our siege cascade ammo is more responsive, and shortens the time it takes to hit enemies. And it has a 100% chance to not consume a bolt if you have reloaded recently. Recently here means in the last 4 seconds, and that means you can shoot as many Siege Cascade shots as possible in 4 seconds, making this a lot smoother to play during maps. - Through the use of Conduction in Siege Cascade, our attacks can shock, and that will trigger Herald of Thunder attacks since we'll attack very fast during mapping thanks to Rampart Raptor. - Herald of Thunder is socketed with Electrocution to help electrocute mobs and also shock siphon and culling strike to help us sustain our Energy Shield during mapping, which gives us great sustain. We can easily stack up Grim Feast, making this a very strong defensive option in endgame maps. Playstyle

- During maps, spam Siege Cascade and everything will die. For straggler or single rare left, shoot 1 or 2 vine arrows and spam Siege Cascade and it should die.
