Exalted orbs disappearing :(

I just traded a divine orb for 100+ exalted orbs on the currency exchange in the game. I picked them out and then put them in the stash, when i reopened the stash to use exalts on an jewel i noticed that I noticed that i only had 13 left after using one. Thats when i noticed that all of the exalts i got from the currency exchange was gone. Is there any way to get them back?
