Blackbraid Fur Plate bugged?

Was playing around with this chest piece and it doesn’t seem to be applying armour to elemental damage. I’ve tried it with fire wall, flaming fuselage and solid orb. The tool tips do not update when equipping either. I hope it gets fixed along with armor in general.

Maybe I am missing something?

Yes, it's not meant to apply Armour to the damage you deal in any way.

Normally, Armour lowers the physical damage you take from hits. Blackbraid makes Armour also lower the elemental damage you take from hits.
