[PSA] Do not purchase Tabs on PS5 if you cross play

If you purchase stash tabs on PS5, they will for some reason, be delivered as PC only stash tabs, and not even the correct kind of stash tabs.

I ordered a 6x premium stash tab bundle on PS5, as they made the nonsensical decision to not have stash be cross platform, and did not recieve my tabs. When i logged in on my steam deck on the couch, it gave me three Premium tabs, and three normal tabs, for PC only.

No, i didnt mistakenly purchase them on the wrong platform.

Also if you contact support, they just wont answer you. its been over a day and multiple emails and still zero resolution. not even a single response.


Do not risk buying these if you cross play.

did you purchase the tabs while playing a character that is connected to your PC sub-account?

I only ask as FWIW I've had no issues buying tabs on PS5 on a character that is on my PS sub-account roster.

its connected to my PC Account that i've been using since the ye-olde days of farming ledge in poe 1. when poe2 launched i bought a quad bundle on PS5 because the stash wasnt shared and it was too cumbersome to operate. that went to the PS5 just fine, but has issues with tabs un-naming themselves and losing their tab settings.

bought a premium bundle, and this time its completely borked. it gave me 3 normal tabs, and 3 pc tabs, then deleted the 3 pc tabs, but kept the 3 normal tabs, now the 3 normal tabs are gone, but show back up if i go to certian acts - like theyre there in act 1, but not act 4. its completely nonsensical.

The status of the stash on cross platform is atrocious.

Cross platform sharing of mtx including stash tabs is a Sony restriction not a GGG one. GGG wanted every platform to share everything but that would have meant folks would use stuff paid for elsewhere & Sony wont allow that (this was explained prior to launch.)

As per news announcement customer service was flooded and is probably more so now as they all had time off for holidays but i dont imagine folks will have stopped sending in support requests during that time. Sending multiple emails wont speed things up and while i get the frustration you are just going to have to be patient.

As for why your stash tab purchase went sideways no idea. I had no problem buying stash tabs on PS5 (different ones than you) and my account is also linked to PC & Xbox.

I can confirm that stash tabs are shared without issue between Xbox and PC. All of my purchased tabs are visible on both platforms. Same names, same affinity settings, etc.

Sounds like what others have said about this being a problem caused by Sony.
