Is this a legitimate mechanism for the rial of the Sekhemas to avoid losing honor or is it a bug?

I am a loyal Sanctum player. I found that when I use Olroth's Resolve in Sanctum, I can avoid the honor loss caused by any damage before the Guard is lost. If this is a reasonable honor defense mechanism, when I use the last flame for no hit running, can I withstand all the damage without failure if there are enough flasks? I also heard that Acolyte of Chayula's Darkness can also avoid honor loss. I don't know if this is a bug or a reasonable defense mechanism, so I reflect it here. What the devs consider legit, that is.
Atm, it seems to be health/es damage taken, so evasion also prevents it, and armour reduces it (just not by enough).
It makes sense that guard and darkness would stop it, though I expect in the future it'd just partially mitigate it - then again, the whole "never be hit" seems an uncreative gimmick to me anyways, so I feel cheesing that is fair game.

I think "NO hit" is a very interesting gameplay, which is also the original intention of the design of the last flame. Unlike armor, the defense mechanism of armor is not completely immune to honor loss, but the two mechanisms I mentioned can completely ignore honor, which means that as long as these two defense mechanisms are used, the honor mechanism of sanctum will become meaningless. If it is reasonable, the setting that sanctum will fail when honor drops to zero is meaningless.

Huh, that's interesting. I guess part of the honor loss trigger is when you lose hp/es.

As a sanctum enjoyer, I think it's fine. It's not super duper spammable so it doesn't kill the purpose of honor.

I think the only really question is if guard/darkness should count on the "1 honor" runs.

Does MoM prevent honor lose while you have mana?
