Is there a way to zoom out more?

Is there a way to zoom out more? Everything seems too big. And I would like to admire the graphics that are presented in the game the locations are wonderful but this tiny piece of the screen does not show the whole beauty of the land surrounding us.

We have been able to zoom out a bit further for a few days now and the maximum zoom level is much closer for me, which must have happened sometime this week. It's been unplayable for me since then.
